Un pas, une pierre, un chemin qui chemine….” (“A step, a stone, a path winding its way…”) The first words of Les Eaux de Mars, the French version sung by George Moustaki of Antônio Carlos Jobim’s Brazilian song Águas de Março, are encoded and woven within this scarf. Enumerating fleeting images and impressions, the song unfolds in a light and supple flow; this fine and soft scarf was woven as a tribute to the song.
